Recently in an international collaboration with Eiríkur Steingrímsson group, two members of our lab were contributors and co-authors of a research article in Cell which is entitled, “A Polymorphism in IRF4 Affects Human Pigmentation through a Tyrosinase-Dependent MITF/TFAP2A Pathway”.
Epigeneys is an ambitious EC-funded research initiative on epigenetics advancing towards systems biology. We are now an associate member of this research network.
Hülya Öztürk finished her research in our lab and she will return to Vrije University in Amsterdam in a few days. We were happy to have her here and we will miss her. Gen-Reg Lab members wish her good luck with her future studies!
Seval Kılıç ve Tuğcan Korak, both students from Izmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) will be interns in our lab for the next 2 month. Babür Erdem from Middle East Technical University(METU) will be our third summer intern during August and September. Welcome Seval and Tuğcan and Babür!
